2. Learn toolpath creation in a semi-guided format, one cutting operation at a time.

3. Develop practical, hands-on skills through direct guided interaction with the CAD/CAM software.

4. Use moderate to difficult in-house parts. - optimised or recreated for training - to work across a variety of commonly used toolpaths, such as Adaptive Milling and Variable Axis Surface Contouring.

5. Share insights and solutions with peers to enhance collective learning.

Part 2: Learn Cutting Parameter Calculations

1. Learn GD&T symbols, kinds of toolpaths, and documentation.

2. Efficiently extract data from tooling catalogues and understand the capabilities and limitations of different cutting tools.

3. Perform cutting parameter calculations one cutting operation at a time, based on the type of cutting tool and operation.

4. Through repeated cutting data calculations, develop the art of increasing tool life and decreasing cycle time by examining wear patterns on cutting edges and the visual appearance of chips.

5. Acquire practical knowledge from senior machine operators.
